last christmas

It's ironic that during this season, some people tend to get lonely for something that they would not normally mind not having at other times.

Hmmm.. I wonder why is it that the holidays (happy as they are supposed to be) highlights those that can make people lonely. Or is it just our minds going overdrive and seeing the norms and standards wanting them so much to be our own?
