Over lunch, Larra shared an utterly depressing news which I had to relay to my confidants right away.
"It's just saddening. In spite of being relatively nice to everyone, I still end up having haters. Not that I care; as I have said, I would rather shine brighter or rise above everyone else everyone else than be liked. It's just frustrating and disappointing at times.
Pakak replied, "It's really like that. One day, we shall have our legions like Lady GaGa's little monsters, and they will die for our approval!"
"I have, or at least they used to be my little ponies. Now, they're starting a mutiny!"
"Hahahaha! Revolt against the queen? Crush them then!" He said.
Contrary to my friend's advice, I won't be mad; I can't, even if they said the wrong things at the wrong time to the wrong people. True, a part of me wants to get even but doing a Blair Waldorf is so juvenile; everything Gossip Girl is. Anyway, I believe that fear is normally the root of hatred, and hatred within eventually destroys the hater. What I need to do then is to just stand still, look pretty and remain better than the rest of them.

who hates you and why?
sabi ni Ayn Rand, don't expect people to like you. Do what would make you a productive individual and that bests define who you are.
or baka naman nagpapaka-brat ka? hihi
nasaan na ang hinahangaan kong manunulat ng OMBD? :D
stand still, look pretty and remain better. same as i will do. lol.
Hey Mak, it's been a while! Things have changed a little here since I last checked. And what a shocking revelation you have here - the OMBD owner now becomes vulnerable to criticisms!
Well, I somehow share with your sentiments. We're humans and it's okay to get affected. But don't keep it too long. It's not what they say that will define us - it is how we stand and deal with this you have called "war." Anyway, come to think of it, we chose to be in the situation we are now.
Never fight back, just keep a stern eye on the prize. :)
