There is a certain feeling when my eyes cannot discern where lines start, or where it crosses and meets with other lines, or where it breaks or fades into itself, knowing that at one point it has to end. In the absence of light, the distinctions are blurred and everything falls into the depths of gray.
Now I understand why crickets sing at night.
