prelude to a kiss: 14 days to love

It's quite perplexing why some people charge head on when the most exciting parts of the kiss are the moments that lead up to it.

It's like that feeling when everything stops and the collective is at the edge of their seats, watching, holding their breath, silently waiting for their cue to say awww. It's like the universe conspires to make everything turn out sweet and right and lasting. It may not, but at least for that moment it will all be about you and your other, celebrating that what could be the most complicated, addictive, scary and wonderful thing there is.

Sometimes, it's not just about the kiss.
