It must be because I've psyched myself to be the first customer of the new Krispy Kreme branch along Ayala Avenue that I woke up this freaking early.
I don't even know why I want to win a year's supply of Krispy Kreme.
Clearly, I don't have any plan to sign-up on whalewatchers.com.

Last night I had the final conference call/interview with the US people for the company that I'm dying to work for. Well, dying isn't the correct word but it makes for a dramatic statement.
I just found out that Manolito, a colleague of mine, also applied for the position. After the drama KC and I had with G last week - he apparently also applied for the same position (what the hell is wrong with our team?) but upon knowing my status in that company, he courteously gave way and retracted his application. Surprised me is all. Well I'm glad that he did that, just proves that he is somewhat nice. Even if he's still the last person on Earth I would want to get stuck on an island with. We just don't jive. Going back to Manolito, all I can say is he's... not worth ranting over. I know I'm so much more qualified than him. His only edge would be that he's older. Thus, technically speaking he's more experienced (I know, right. Wink wink.). I don't want to be threatened by him because that means I'm accepting that he's my competitor and I am so not gonna accept that.

You shouldn't hire me if you're willing to settle for an average-skilled, non-professional, unmotivated employee with no sense of responsibility. Chris said that he'll be having a meeting with the US team later today to come up with THE decision.
Honestly, I am a bit scared. And the reason I keep on telling myself is that because I really want this job.
But I don't want to lose sleep over this. If it's meant to be mine, it'll be mine.

But if it isn't mine, then I hope that there's a REALLY, really good reason for me to stay.
And I sure hope that that reason is the one I'm thinking of right now.

Just have to accept that.

Going back, totoo naman na usually tama ung mga gut-feel. Pero ang problem kasi sa akin is nasanay ako na kapag gusto ko, dapat agad-agad ('pampered' kasi masyado DATI...).
Saka sabi ko nga... kung para saken un... sa Monday job offer na. Hihi.
